Jeremy had a couple of his "rat-pack" friends here to ski - room at the Inn at Solitude, and a four day weekend to ski. Only a few runs into the event, Jeremy had a freak fall, catching an edge on the way to get on the lift. He tore his left knee ACL.
Today, after the guys left on a plane, Jer had his MRI today. His doctor really impressed us by phoning Jer tonight with the results - the good news - cartilage not damaged, but bone bruised, and ACL torn and twisted. He meets with the Dr. on Friday to schedule surgery.

New Year - New Look
I had had my hair cut last summer to remove the damaged ends that were splitting faster than it was growing out. First time since I left High School. Now it had grown out to shoulder length and was driving me crazy. So I had it cut again. I was pleased with the results and folks have been quite complimentary.
Meanwhile, after losing his job, Jack has been letting his hair and beard grow. He was perfect for the Santa picture this year! However, with an interview coming up, he felt it was wise to remove it, so an hour later today there was a major transformation. The barber didn't shave him, but had cruised across the mustache before he could stop her, so maybe the mustache will go at this point too. We'll see where it is by next Wednesday evening.
Pictures down below.

Article from Sunday's Salt Lake Tribune about my company - fairly short but it sums up what we do pretty well.

Visit
I'm SO excited - Kym and Family arrive Thursday to be here through December 1st. That means we'll all be able to be together as a family. Jeremy's traveling Wed, 18th - Sunday 22nd, so his puppy Kenzee will be here when the Marriners arrive. Cyndi and family will be down over the weekend and return Wednesday - Sunday for Thanksgiving. Cheryl Lynn O. arrives Sunday 22nd and will visit at Cyndi's till they come back to SLC. Laura H, one of Beach crowd younger generation will join us, weather permitting, driving from Colorado after work to arrive Wed. evening. Jeremy's friend Kaylene has evidently decided she can brave the crowd and will be joining us as well. (If it weren't for the football games I'd say we should all just go down to the dinner being served at the Presbyterian Church!!!!) Actually it ought to be great fun. Hectic but happy.
So far we've gotten a lot of clean up done. There is no way this house will ever be dust free but we've done our best at as much as we can.

Kymmie puts me to shame
At least Kymmie does manage to write something in her blog periodically!
Right now we're preparing for her visit here in Utah, with her family, for Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration. The whole clan will be getting together, mostly here in Salt Lake City so that she doesn't have to endure long car rides - sitting for the plane trip will be more than enough I suspect.
For a while I had tried to create my own website, and keep it updated, but that hasn't happened since I started working.
Maybe this is a better solution.
